[ Shouto leaves a wooden crate at Aizawa's door the day before the bake-off. Inside the crate are 12 half-pint mason jars full of jams, each labeled with their names (apricot jam, strawberry jam, etc). On top of the crate is a small card that simply says

Behold your very own anti-corruption jam, handmade with TLC (tough love and carelessness). Beware of taste, but good for corruption! Some lucky people may wait to try it after they see his poor performance at the bake-off and may want to think twice about trying it. Doesn't help that he was robbed for all he's worth spending about two pints of blood for ingredients. Also, a few of those jams might be cursed. Please look at the 'Seasonal Details on the Boardwalk' to see just what curse you've got with each jam and yup, all the cursed fruit is there. He really knows how to pick 'em! ]

1) Apricot Jam
1/2 cup apricots (not pitted)
1/2 cup sugar
4 tablespoon oyster sauce
3 half-inch pieces of ginger
Boiled (some charring, taste a little burnt)

2) Strawberry Jam
1/2 cup strawberry (stems and all)
1/2 cup sugar
4 tablespoon fish sauce
3 half-inch cinnamon stick (left in the jam)
Boiled (some charring, taste a little burnt)

3) Mango Jam
1 mango (not pitted or skinned)
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoon hoisin sauce
3 whole stars of anise (left in the jam)
Boiled (some charring, taste a little burnt)

4) Papaya Jam
1/2 Papaya (seeds added, not skinned)
1 cup sugar
4 tablespoon tamari sauce
3 whole cloves (left in the jam)
Boiled (some charring, taste a little burnt)

5) Blackberry Jam
1 cup blackberries
1/2 cup sugar
4 basil leaves
4 tablespoon light soy sauce
3 whole cardamom pods (left in the jam)
Boiled (some charring, taste a little burnt)

6) Raspberry Jam
1 cup raspberries
1/2 cup sugar
4 bay leaves (dried)
4 tablespoon Japanese soy sauce
3 whole nutmeg seeds (left in the jam)
Boiled (some charring, taste a little burnt)

7) Blueberry Jam
1 cup blueberries
1/2 cup sugar
4 mint leaves
4 tablespoon dark soy sauce
3 whole mace seeds (left in the jam)

8) Marmalade Jam
1 cup blood orange (w/skin and seeds)
1/2 cup sugar
1 bundle of cilantro
4 tablespoon mushroom soy sauce
3 tablespoons of whole fenugreek (left in the jam)

9) Grape Jam
1 cup concord grapes (w/skin and seeds)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup of water
1 bundle of parsley
4 chipotle peppers
3 tablespoons of whole cumin (left in the jam)

10) Grapefruit Jam
1 cup grapefruit (w/skin and seeds)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup of water
1 bundle of chives
4 pepperoncini peppers
3 tablespoons of whole mustard seeds (left in the jam)
Boiled (some charring, taste a little burnt)

11) Apple Jam
1 cup Apples (w/skin and seeds)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup of water
1 tablespoon of rosemary
4 banana peppers
3 tablespoons of whole coriander seeds (left in the jam)

12) Lemon Jam
1 cup lemon (w/skin and seeds)

He tries to imagine what All Might would do, but he's aware more than ever that he can't be exactly like All Might. He knows Aizawa isn't here, but he imagines what he might say. Maybe it will help, pretending that there's a teacher here who understands him well. With no one replying or interrupting him, he veers off in a ramble: ]

Hello Aizawa-sensei. I hope you're well and being a squid isn't too hard on you. I can't say I wish you were here because it's honestly pretty rough dealing with everything, but I do miss you.

I messed up recently. I think I'm gonna get kicked out of the Hunters. I originally joined them so I could learn more about this world and how to protect others in it. I know they kill Beasts, who can be people, and I don't, but I really thought I could save this one. They didn't want me to. A lot of people are angry with me. Bystanders too. I feel like I failed. There are a lot of things I don't understand, and some things I do understand that I wish I didn't.

I don't know what to do.
